New York’s Grammy nominated Max ZT (House of Waters), and Tokyo/Black Country’s lauded Dan Whitehouse combine their inventive energy to create stunning live performances. ZT, the hammered dulcimer player compared to Hendrix, and the ever-regenerating Whitehouse weave spoken word, song and virtuoso playing to create impactful (often improvised) pieces with a belief in the healing power of music at its core.

Daniel Inzani

Daniel Inzani is a composer, pianist and band leader based in Stroud.  After years of recording, touring and eclectic composing he has gathered a trusted set of musicians who are both skilled improvisers and virtuoso players to record a large new body of work for release under his own name: Selected Worlds, Daniel Inzani’s debut triple vinyl album, co-released by Hidden Notes Records and Tardigrade Records in Sept 2024. This event is also to celebrate the release of Tezeta’s brilliant debut lp Seventh Place on Klang Tone Records!

Unfurl Sessions - In the round at the Goods Shed

The new electronic jazz improvisation session returns for a special Jazz Stroud addition in the round at the Goods Shed including special guests for a night of spontaneous improvised electronic jazz fusion. 

Led by award-winning bass guitarist and effects pedalboard maestro Mike Flynn the Unfurl session explores spacious soundscapes, bass lines and flowing beats, mixing jazz, electronica, broken beats, spoken poetry and vocals.
